For the sake of security and safety of all passengers, the airport security team shall conduct screening on all the passengers as well as on their check-in baggage, hand-carry baggage and a body search.  Security measures shall be consistent with the ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) standards.

Before proceeding to the check-in counter, you need to pass through the security screening point with your passport and air ticket.

Do not pack the below listed restricted articles and dangerous goods in your baggage nor do not carry in your hand-carry baggage either.

Prohibited Articles as

  • Guns, firearms and other devices that discharge projectiles
  • Devices designed to cause serious injury by discharging a projectile or capable of being mistaken for such devices
  • Devices designed specifically to stun or immobilize
  • Objects with sharp points or sharp edges. Objects with a sharp point or sharp edge capable of being used to cause serious injury
  • Workers’ tools capable of being used either to cause serious injury or to threaten the safety of aircraft
  • Blunt instruments capable of being used to cause serious injury when used to hit
  • Explosives and incendiary substances and devices those are strongly restricted not only in baggage but also in the hold of an aircraft
  • Liquids, aerosols and gels that explosive or incendiary substances or devices capable of being used to cause serious injury or threatening the safety of aircraft

Dangerous Goods are as

  • Explosives such as grenades, fireworks and flares
  • Gases such propane and butane, non-flammable gas
  • Flammable liquids such as Gasoline and Methanol
  • Flammable solids and reactive substances such as magnesium and firelighters
  • Oxidizing substances and/or organic peroxides such as bleach and car body repair kits
  • Toxic and/or infectious substances such as rat poison and Infected blood
  • Radioactive material such as medicinal or commercial isotopes
  • Corrosive substances such as mercury and vehicle batteries
  • Miscellaneous dangerous substances and articles such as vehicle fuel system components that have contained fuel
